1. Health & Fitness Declaration

• I confirm that I am physically fit to participate in freediving, snorkelling, spearfishing, or sea foraging activities.

• I do not suffer from any condition that may endanger myself or others (including, but not limited to: heart/lung conditions, epilepsy, ear/sinus problems, recent surgery, or any illness affecting breathing or consciousness).

• I will inform the instructor/guide of any relevant health issues before the activity begins.

 

2. Risks Acknowledgement

• I understand that activities take place in natural environments that involve risks (including cold water, currents, marine life, boat traffic, and weather changes).

• I accept that while Freedive Shetland FS follows strict safety procedures, accidents or injuries may still occur.

• I will follow all instructions from the instructor/guide at all times.

 

3. Liability Waiver

• I take part at my own risk.

• Freedive Shetland FS, its staff, and guides are not responsible for personal injury, death, loss, or damage unless caused by negligence or other breach of duty.

• I am responsible for my own belongings during the activity.

 

4. Equipment Use

• If I hire equipment, I will return it in good condition.

• I accept that I may be charged for loss or damage beyond normal wear and tear.

 

5. Photography & Media (optional)

☐ I consent to photos/videos taken during the activity being used by Freedive Shetland FS for promotional purposes.
☐ I do not consent.
